From Teacher to Worldbuilder: Why I Created The Pangean Chronicles

Published on 30 April 2025 at 06:03

For most of my adult life, I was a teacher—standing in front of classrooms filled with bright minds, trying to bring the world to life. But even then, I always had another world inside my head. A world of gods and demons, of ancient armies and magical contracts. That world became Pangea, and the stories it gave me refused to stay quiet.

I created The Pangean Chronicles because I wanted to write fantasy that hit deep. Stories that blended classic epic battles with emotional struggle. Characters that made terrible choices, then fought to redeem themselves. And yes, I wanted to write for readers who don’t always feel seen—like reluctant readers or young men who want something exciting and complex, but also brutally human.

At its core, The Pangean Chronicles is a story about power, legacy, and choice. It’s about what happens when the gods walk away, and the broken, flawed people left behind are forced to decide whether they’ll save the world—or help burn it down.

This blog is where I’ll share more behind-the-scenes lore, character insights, personal updates, and maybe even a few confessions from a teacher-turned-writer who still can’t resist telling a good story.
